Express Notice of Assessments Available to E-Filers

The CRA has introduced a new service for E-Filers to be able to receive Notice of Assessments or Reassessments directly within 24 hours of filing an individual’s tax return. Taxpayers will be required to sign an authorization form for the CRA to deliver their assessments to their accountants. The authorization will only be valid for current year tax assessments and will not impact any other correspondence from the CRA.

However, if you decide to take advantage of this option, the CRA will not mail you a copy of the Notice of Assessment.
